For a black car I'd get the entire thing done, it's part of the price of admission.
However, you could get what's called the "track pack", which are the high impact areas (front bumper, hood, fenders, behind the wheels, rocker panels, side mirrors, and a strip above the windshield), and you should be fine for most things.
