I was trying to remove some scuff on the PPF on the lower rocker panel piece. Turned out the scuff was too deep to self heal and I totally messed up overheating the area. Now when I peeled of the PPF, the underlying body paint has deep wrinkles in it. Not sure it's the clear coat or all layers.

It's about 2*2" area. I am gonna try sanding compounding and polishing but the grooves feel deeper than typical orange peel I doubt they can be fixed this way

This is a plastic piece p/n (51-77-8-084-240). If I take this part off to have a shop repaint it, how much does this usually cost?
