Thanks for the replies. Sorry to have ghosted everyone but I was on a very demanding job last week and had zero time to look at this.
So for the clean hands comments. That would be great but my screen name ought to give some hint of my problem.
Also I am not a car swapping person for the most part. Tend to keep them 10+ years. My old truck has 285k on it. Had it 18 years so far.
I am not allowed to wear white. Dirt flocks to me. No idea why.
I do spend much of my time running a skidsteer and excavator but I am sure that has nothing , like literally zero, to do with it. Not sure why my new truck steering wheel gets dirty either. (Sarcasm if you missed it)
I typically just use a damp microfiber to get the built up crud off the steering wheel and it cleans it nicely, I just feel that over time it will degrade the leather.
I will try the colourlock product. Thanks for the feedback.
