Thanks so the general gist of everything is power washing is ok but do it with caution.

Probably best is to use a spray bottle with some simple green and lots of cheap microfibers to get to the more sensitive spots. Rinse with light pressure.

And don't do anything stupid (like spraying water on electrical connectors).

I may take the safe route with the cloths just because the car is 20 years old and the state of seals (although ok because I can drive it) is unknown.
