There is some sort of formula behind the scenes that requires a certain number of *quality* post contributions to the community over time. This is to stop scammers from getting PM access to take advantage of the other members. Replying to a whole bunch of posts with "nice car," "bump," or "me too" seems to have negative results to anyone trying to shortcut the process.
I am not an admin or moderator here, but am pretty sure that someone who joined yesterday just to get a PM to download pirated maps/software and then vanish should not expect instant gratification.....
