The usually well-informed German magazine Auto Motor und Sport earlier today: Max Verstappen's salary package has been internally approved by Mercedes. Including all success bonuses, it's told to be more expensive than the one of Lewis Hamilton.
This may get Verstappen closer to striking a Mercedes deal soon as F1 driver and brand ambassador for either 2025 or 2026.
Up to Max to decide if he wants to make the move. 2026 regs will reshuffle the field again. IMHO Mercedes could be the proper choice for him.
