My guess is it was minor sexist type comments and things of that nature. No direct harassment, just stuff that someone found inappropriate for a workplace environment. You've really gotta have a discussion with someone about that sort of behavior, rather than just accumulate evidence for a significant amount of time, because the perpetrator likely doesn't know they're offending you.

I work adjacent to the construction industry and this stuff happens all the time. Questionable things get said that may be okay for 99% of the people in the room. We can't all be 100% PC 100% of the time. When you come up against something that's uncomfortable, you need to say something before it becomes true harassment, you can't just sit back and pretend like it's okay and then boom, come up with some major allegation years later.
