But it's kind of a personal thing. How much wear can you tolerate? For people like me, this car is kind of the pinnacle of what I'll ever have, so it causes me more stress than it would for someone who is financially well off enough to just be able to say "ah whatever, I'll just have it shipped to X shop that knows what they are doing for paint repair or respray."

This will be my daily driver and generally I obsess less with a DD. That being said, I’ve bought a few new M cars over the years and that first chip kills me.

We’ll see how it goes. I got a local quote of $1800 for all the areas you mentioned.
