I coated the face and under the lip before having the tires mounted, when they were brand new minimal dirt. It probably would have been good to use a little polisher and correct the surface before doing the coating. I then did the barrels after the weights were on.
I've only had them on for about a week, the brake dust got noticeable so I sprayed them with the geon iron cleaner when st the carwash. The stuff is expensive and I only had a small bottle so I was being conservative with it. I probably need to buy more use it really generously . Then the pressure washer didn't have any soap that day, every time at that place, I get ripped off and leave with a dirty car. So I still had to microfiber some of the dirt off, which I'm kind of pissed about. Hoping next time with more of the cleaner and a working soap carwash I don't have to touch them.
