That's awesome. Love Mt Ranier. Mt Hood has the 41 mile Timberline Trail. My cousin and I did it when we turned 40. We ran into a lot of people that were just doing day portions from the many access points. When they asked us how long we were taking we said, "Oh, just today." Managed it in 15.5 hours.

There used to be a sanctioned run back in the day. We thought we were humping along pretty good on our loop. The winners would routinely go under 7 hours. Fastest known time was 6:24. There's also 10,000 feet of elevation gain. How I want that body back.
