If you're just looking for something similar as a replacement I would just drive the X1 into the ground.
You don't have the N20 timing chain issue to worry about, so the biggest E84 X1 problem is a non-issue for you.
The main reasons I got rid of mine were timing chain concerns and that I was ready to move to a completely different type of vehicle.
