I just applied Quartz Ceramic coating on my car over the weekend and I am looking fw to the results.
My car got delivered with all the plastic wrapping so the paint underneath was PERFECT and untouched.
I still decon and washed it very carefully with foam + 2 buckets. I applied 2 coats and it turned out absolutely great. There is no way I am paying someone $1K+ to apply this.
I guess one is really paying for paint correction.
My car is a lease and Quartz should easily last 3 years, especially if it is kept up.
I can post pictures soon.
So yes, it is worth it. My recommendation is that if your car's paint is in good condition, do this yourself and save $$$
