I get PPF done on all of my cars bec I am a perfectionist and chips bug the heck out of me.
The cars that I own get the high-end seamless stuff (DYNOshield) while leased cars get the regular computer cut stuff. It keeps me sane and that's all I care
Here is my F10 after 3 years 30K miles still looking brand new. In comparison, the windshield is pitted pretty bad.

Don't know what it is... maybe LA... routes I take

but just don't seem to be much of an issue here. Car has 45k miles now, still essentially mint, even under the more extreme looking glass.
Yikes, that environment sounds like it makes sense to do that though.
