If you get the sdrive 28i with the Ultimate package (which includes real leather seats, the moonroof, tech package, premium package, etc) for only $1000 more. That will more than make up for itself at resale if you decide to keep the car. Invoice price is like 38k on that. Seems to not make sense to get a car with practically no options for $37,400 when you can spend $1000 more and get the top of the line one.
I can't imagine spending $37,000 on a car and not getting leather seats or a garage door opener, or many of the other creature comforts that modern cars have.

Yeah I could care less about Leather seats.. I surf quite a bit, and leather seats aren't ideal if I they're getting wet all the time. Leatherette is far more superior from a sport point of view.. Especially if it's getting sand, mud etc. on it.
I can live without all the all the other bells and whistles.. aka power seats. I just care about the suspension, having a rear view cam, a paddle shift steering wheel, and 19" wheels!
