Telephone and caller id - XBimmers

My iPhone 5 and x1 play well together; however, when phone calls come in the idrive only shows phone number and not name, even though the persons number is on my phone book

Ideas?

I've noticed this as well. My previous vehicle with iDrive showed the name properly. Not sure what the deal is. I will ask my parents about their 328i.

not trying to bump my own thread here, but has no one else experienced phone calls coming into car and the car does not display the contact name on Idrive?

Have you got all your contacts on the sim & in the phone?

Mine is showing the ID name now...don't know why it didn't before.
