Bluetooth Issues - XBimmers

Hey everyone I picked up my X1 a couple weeks ago and set up my BT with my iphone 4 at the dealership, and it worked a few times after that. Now it won't pair, and in the iDrive the BT option is greyed out/can not be selected. All the telephone submenus are there but they all say "Please Wait" like it is doing something.

Has anyone ever encountered this?

I had to reset mine. It wasn't grayed out. It just wouldn't connect. So I re-programmed it and since then it has worked fine. Iphone 5, for what that's worth.

are you using the same key you set the car up with ? I spent ages setting my key up and wondered why all settings had gone then realised I was using spare key..worth a shot ?

I did a software update via usb.

This may be the issue. I will test this theory tomorrow. I brought both keys in and probably mixed them up before my key cases came.

I would test it now but my rims are being done
