Auto Start/Stop Malfunction - XBimmers

I have just experienced the following situation:
- I stopped at traffic light
- Auto Start/Stop on, engine stopped
- Transmission changed to "P" automatically (it supposed stayed in "D")

It happened twice in a roll. Afterward it was normal again.

Has anyone experienced this situation before? Thanks.

I'd look into threads about the Mechatronic. I vaguely remember people complaining about the transmission changing between P and D when their transmission was failing, or more specifically the mechatronic.
