Toolkit contents - what tools included
hi all - just wondering how many pieces of tools that comes in the toolkit bag located underneath the boot panel. the toolkit bag has 4 compartment but there\'s only 3 pieces:
- 1 x screwdriver - 1 x nut/bolt for wheel rim - 1 metal rod that appears to me is for towing purposes. Is this the same contents in your toolkit bag ? |

Yes, that's it... mine contains the same:
- 1 x wimpy-looking screwdriver - 1 x security nut for the wheels - 2 x threaded tow hook attachments (I'm guessing that if your car came by ship, they give you in the second one, as two of these are used to tie-down the vehicles aboard the ship). |

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I need to re-ask this question to people who have X1s in the US.
My toolkit initially came with the phillips-head screwdriver, nothing else. I raised the issue and the dealer provided a tow-rod. My question: did anyone get anything else in their toolkit? Thanks! |

Wow, you missed out on the cheap plastic-y foldover thing with 4 pockets.
From the online Owner's Guide, the only reference I see to the screwdriver is in the instructions to "Override the selector lock". Hope I never need it for that. |
