Springs / Suspension
Anyone in CA or UK lowered their X1 yet? I know Eibach makes a set of Pro Kits; Hartge has some springs as well. However since the car hasn't hit the states yet, I haven't been able to find any spring sets.

kw suspensions have a kit, it is also possible that Koni FSD (frequency selective damper) can be fitted (the can be fitted to the E.91 which shares the same platform)

I have been thinking about Bilstein B6 shocks with H+R sport springs. They are made for the car, but not (yet ) imported from Europe.
If any of the European members have tried this combo or similar, please post some pics!! |

So after doing some more research; there is nothing out there yet in the states. However, you could use E91 (328i wagon) springs. When I get the car in late Oct, if there is still nothing out there; I might just do this. Either Eibach Pro Kit or Sportline springs.
BTW: The front sway bar comes from a Z and E84 (other X1 models) and the rear is still E91 or E82 or E84. Pretty interesting stuff. |
