Your car seems to have a screen, but no iDrive contoller?

Factory Satnavs don't work in Israel. Something to do with military frequensies i guess. Without GPS Idrive is just an expensive toy. So local BMW importer install custom thingie that do all that really matter: GPS, video, rear view camera, blutooth.

Oh and it uses IGO Primo. Much better then BMW Idrive native crap.

Ignition code. Every car here has it. You punch it before starting a car.

As Bmw doesn't have maps for Cyprus I-drive is useless here too.
So DArthartut what did your dealer put you there and how much it cost? I find it really good as you say it is doing everything as i-drive.

I am expecting you answer.

this system is touchscreen and they put it for free. But since cars in Israel are insanely expensive (up to 250%) they can throw this little bonus.

If you need navi that bad, just buy a garmin or tomtom, they're generally better than BMWs nav and way cheaper. As far as the rest of the features, they should be already included and functional in your car if you ordered them as options.
