BMWwebTV has released this new X1 video on its youtube channel. The narrator, with the help of a translated interview with Peter Krist, Head of Project BMW X1 explains the exterior and interior design philosophies behind the upcoming X1. Great driving footage in the video.

i really like X1 for its size and look

now i would love to see it next to cars like CR-V, RAV 4 and the small suv Benz has...(what's the name?)

Here is another video in German that is more detailed in both interior and exterior design. And yes the X1 is really this tall and compact.

Wow, I thought it was much bigger than that, but its seems really compact. Can't wait to see it in person.
