Time to change wheels for the winter!
I have a standard garage-jack. but do I need some blocks to put into the
jack-supports on the underside of the chassis in order not to break them? I know the original BMW jack will fit straight into the jack-supports - but a garage jack is simpler to use. Re BT |

There is two center points, one in the front and one at the rear, where you can use the garage-jack to lift both wheels at the same time. They are easy to locate.

Jack position on X1
I have a similar comment - I used my 2010 C Class Mercedes jack as it has the same jack head size and fits the X1 jack slot fine.
When using a jack I like to place a safety block under the X1 while removing the wheel but I am unsure where to place it. Can anyone help with front & rear locations ? |

Getting the X1 xDrive fitted with Nokian WR G2 225/50 R17 98V XL M+S tyres.
Will let you know how we get on as we plan to run these all year round as they are clasified as 'All Weather Plus' tyres with the M+S specification.
