Taking care of the Sensatec (Leatherette) Interior?

Good Morning/Evening to my fellow BMW Brothers and Sisters out there! I hope everyone is off to a great productive week!

I have noticed while searching on this forum that there is very little talk about the Sensatec interior.

Unless you allowed BMW to twist your arm and sell you a Premium Package (3950), a Ultimate Package (6195) , or the "leather option" for (1450), you have the Sensatec interior. (I am going based off of the X1 in the USA btw)

For those of you who want to keep your X1 forever and have the leatherette interior, i thought this would be a great time to discuss taking care of the Sensatec interior and making it last forever.

I know that on other forums there is talk about the pros of having Sensatec. Such as the low maintenance, the strong durability, and how great it feels for what it is.

The thing is, at least on my X1, i feel that the leatherette has a rather "tired" and "dry" feeling to it already. BMW's, at least from the used ones that i have seen, seem to age rather quickly. of course this varies between how the owner takes care of their car, but i see that the interior overall aged quite fast.

I want to keep this interior looking sharp and slow the aging process as much as possible. The thing is, i have no idea what products to use, how to use it, or what would be the best for the leatherette interior. A lot of products are aimed towards "real" leather, but i don't know any products that are geared specifically for leatherette or what uptakes are necessary to keep it looking good!

I especially want to get rid of the dry feeling of my sensatec interior!

Any opinions and advice would be gladly appreciated!
Thanks for reading!

I have the black Nevada leather option but I was wondering if all of the surfaces are leather or some and some are sensatec. I am also looking for cleaning and care products.

I found this micro print in one of the online manuals.

Leather upholstery: Leather on all seating surfaces; other components may be Leather or SensaTec.

So we all have some sensatec around, it would be good to keep it protected.

Mother's VLR - that is vinyl leather rubber works well on leatherette/vinyl interior surfaces. I also used it on rubber door trim and it stopped the creaking noises for a while.

Zaino Bros. leather conditioner. It's made for both leather and vinyl. Smells really good, too.
