problem copying music files from itunes on a mac

So I understand its basically a drag and drop process.

Problem is when the track has album art associated it seems to add a file called "._xxxxxxxx.mp3"

You cant see the file on the mac as I understand its a mac system file but you can see it in the car and on a PC? The problem is the car tries to play the file but cant as they are only 4kb.

Is there any way to stop these files being copied when dragging and dropping on a mac?

I just found this thread: http://www.motherboardpoint.com/find...d-t245253.html - there's a link to a tool which deletes all those nasty 4k-dot-files. Perhaps there is an option within the disk configuration or finder of your OSX to not create those files on attached FAT-Drives. As I don't own any mac I have no further ideas :-)
