Clicking noise in the Boot of the X1

I can't seem to figure it out. It sounds like a piece of plastic is loose, and something heavy is hitting against it. Heard it when we first took delivery and driving home from the dealership. I thought it was no big deal, and that maybe the privacy cover in the back is loose, and is rocking back and forth against other plastic parts. But I've checked it, along with pushing against all the rear seats to make sure that they all have engaged their locks properly. I only hear it when we travel over cracks or bumps in the road, and it seems like I can just wrap it with some bubble wrap or tape to silence it if I can discover where it's coming from. Has anyone else experience this as well? Thanks.

Since you said your seats are all closed, and the two cargo covers sound like they're clamped in place, have you checked under the load floor, possible in the battery box, or in the small area under the load cover?

I did look underneat there, and the only thing loose is the tool kit, which I had already removed. I'll check the battery covers tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion.

Mine does this. I think it's the tailgate lock or the tailgate not closing securely enough.

I had a similar noise when I too delivery. After a lot of trialing different things, in cluding a full underside inspection, it turned out to be simply the edges of the dealer fitted rear number plate cover, hitting the door. It seems the sound was amplified by the door material.

What engine do you have/when do you hear it?
I can also hear a click from the boot, in the second gear around 1750 RPM, it's the valve that opens and closes at the exhaust
