Rear View Mirror Dim Setting

Does anyone know how to adjust the dimming amount on the rear view mirror. It says to just turn the knob in the manual but that is much easier said than done...

Turning the knob is only for the manual mirror, without the ECD (electrochromic display) option. The "clown nose" (it used to be a much bigger nose in older models) is just the car alarm indicator in ECD mirrors. The ECD is totally electronic - either on or off, depending on the light sensors (it's on when the rear sensor sees more light than the front sensor). I've never noticed a need to have an intermediate setting myself...
