Periscope depth...

Drove thru' 45 minutes of the hardest rain I've seen since the one that flooded my hometown in '77. Between the rain, wind and standing water, I had to pull it into sport to keep the engine from lugging; we were able to roll along at about 45, and there were no misfires or other problems. I was pleased with how the X1 performed; wipers/defrost/stability all worked well.
Wanted to let others know how well it did here, and ask if there's anything I should be checking after a cruise at periscope depth.

Rain? Here in the dessert (chamber of commerce) of WA., it's sunny, hot, and very dry. Should be this way until the middle of September.
