I have a questin in regards with the LED (green dot light) that is incorporated in the light switch:

When this LED supposed to be lit?
When you switch to the right, driving lights, short beam or when to switch to the left for "A" (automatic)? Or in both cases?

I am trying to see if there is something wrong with mine since sometimes is ON and sometimes is not.

Thanks

It lights up when the lights actually turn on, right? So if it's on auto, it should only light up when it's dark outside.

Thats what I actually need to know. Should stay lit all the time to confirm that the switch is turned on, or only when the lights are truly working? It works only with the Automatic side or should work with the manual side too?

I have replaced the switch with the EURO model to have the rear fog lamps as well, and I think the previous one was always on? Might be wrong though...

Thanks

I have read the manual, it does not answer to my question. For my is on page 71 not 84. The manual is saying " switch position on; the LED next to the symbol lights up.

"Automatic headlamp control Switch position : the low beams are switched on and off automatically, e.g., in tunnels, in twilight or if there is precipitation. The LED next to the symbol lights up."

In other words it only lights up when in the auto position and the headlights come on due to darkness....
