New car 328xi 2009

Hello
Well, I sold my e90 320i and bought a 328i but xdrive year 2009.
It's not what I wanted but in my country there aren't many to choose from.
And this one is from its country USA, sole owner 110 thousand kms, always serviced by official service.
I have all the history.
And the car looks great, it was an older man, the only thing is, it is 100% original with 16 wheels, but we are going to gradually accommodate it.
What do you recommend I do?
Suspension? It seems very tall in front.
But I saw that the solution is not so easy.
Engine ? I think it already has the 3 stage intake.
Xdelete to leave it rear wheel drive?

Everything will be welcome.
Thank you

Garage List
2006 BMW 330i  [8.21]
2009 BMW 328i Touri ...  [7.90]
2013 BMW X5 35i  [7.63]
2011 BMW 528i  [8.75]
2006 Mazda3  [5.50]
I'm in the minority, but I like 16" wheels, especially with rougher roads.

Xdelete would work great if you don't need the AWD.

Three stage intake is highly recommended, I love mine!

I don't know my way around AWD suspension, but presume it's pretty much the same idea. Find some springs/struts that match your driving style and road conditions, and bolt them on!

Thanks for the reply.
The wheels and tires are for appearance more than anything, the suspension too although I find it a bit soft.

Xdelete I'm going to try it.

This engine is the 230hp one, does it no longer have 3 stage intake?

Thank you

I think 3 stage is 245hp? But most of that is at the higher RPM range.

Hello
I leave a screenshot of realoem, with the intake
I couldn't tell you if it already has 3 stages, I'll see if I can find out.

I think it already has 3 stages according to this website

Welcome!
3SIM (3-stage Intake Manifold) wasn't part of US market 328xi, so I doubt you have it unless the previous owner was an enthusiast and installed one. You can easily tell if you have one going by your diagram above. Open the hood and look for parts #2 and #3. If you don't see those on your intake, you have a regular intake.
3SIM upgrade is definitely worthwhile and you should be able to find one in Europe.
Suspension isn't taller in the front. It's just the body fender shape that makes the gap look bigger in the front.
A set of coilovers will let you set the ride height to your desires. But keep in mind that leveling it out visually is just for looks.

Thank you very much for the response, the diagram you see is from my vin in realoem, according to realoem it would already have the 3stage, do you want me to send you the vin to validate it? I'm going to try to see if it can be seen with the naked eye.
If the suspension is nothing more than appearance, I'm going to first choose to change the wheels, nothing more, see how it looks with about 17 or 18.

Validate the 3stage thing if you don't buy on eBay.

very very thanks

Realoem doesn't show specific vehicle order options. It typically lists options available for your VIN.
Use https://www.mdecoder.com/ to check your equipment options including the engine type.

And what I meant by suspension, is that if you are simply after leveling out the looks, you can achieve that with coilovers. There is absolutely performance to be had in correct suspension. I have ST X coilovers on my E91 and the rear looks visually lower. But it's set to correct level ride height front to rear.

The N51 328xi SULEV came with the 3 stage intake, maybe that's what was imported from the US? Does the black emissions sticker under your hood say California: SULEV

Ah yes! I forgot about the N51.

OP, yes, you do have 3SIM then. I believe you can run a tune to squeeze out a little more power, but not as much as from N52.

The plan is to put some headers, and a cold euro filter.
Then look to make a tune, with that you would be ready to have some fun
