I wasn't really digging the new Cayman until I saw this picture. I love Porsche greys.

Their current business model is killer. The profit they make per model is insane compared to others, and all of their cars are top in-class.

I do wish they would always have a 918/CGT type car though but since the GT3/RS/GT2 can best any normal (non hyper car) Ferrari, Lambo, Aston, Mclaren, etc, I could see why they wouldn't see a need to always produce and make it more of a one off thing every decade. The new Cayman/Boxster GTS look cool but I feel like in this instance there just isn't too much more there even though I do love the car overall. |

The GT3 is a track car that can be run on the street: the PDK is faster on the track, there is no if and or buts about this. It makes total sense to drop the manual, as its a
low volume model. Despite what we every day enthusiasts think, most people out there do not drive manuals very well (especially in the US). The advent of fantastic dual clutch 'auto-manuals' is starting to drive out the 3rd pedal. I don't think it will go away forever, but looking at the sales stats of any US model they are stay steady in the lower area or declining. It may be old tech, but our non-S 5 speed 987 Cayman is an absolute blast: about as perfect a sport car for its price that I have ever driven. There will be cars for us enthusiasts, just have to find them - b |

I've been in love with the Cayman for such a long time. That body is soooo sleek to me. Hoping to get one some time soon.
