I would return that to FCP if possible because that kit is a giant ripoff. BMW released a genuine kit that can be had for $152 and only thing it doesn’t include that’s in the kit from FCP is the oil pan gasket and bolts which is about $82. You can even add a front main seal, bolts for high pressure pump and oil/filter and you’re still far far cheaper.

I did a quick search, I think you a right but for the N54/55 engines maybe?

No for the N20 I’ve literally installed it in multiple vehicles. I’ve probably done timing chains in nearly 100+ cars over the years. Here is the part number for the bmw kit.
