@NumberSix you have a sharp eyes. Yes, the paint is a bit different.
I have been trying to complain to the panel shop, they kept giving excuses.
Now, I can use your comment to complain again.
Thanks

I only noticed it because of a little happening to me.

We'd purchased a Chevrolet SUV in white and had the dealer install and paint the aero kit. Well, we picked it up from the paint shop and the two colors did not match. I drove immediately to the dealer and, as I was passing a group of salesmen in the lot, they made negative comments about the mismatch of the colors. I drove down to the manager's office and he couldn't tell the difference. Then, when told by the manager their paint shop did it, the salesmen couldn't see any difference. What a bunch of lemmings. Anyway with much persistence on my part, the manager's boss agreed to have the aero kit repainted.

It seems they did not waste time/money on the correct primer which allowed the fiberglass to show through and give the white a different tint. When they premiered the pieces in white and applied the final white coat you couldn't tell that it was aftermarket.

My guess is it is not the paint color, but lack of or incorrect primer.

And, once you've seen the difference it will drive you crazy. Persist and get it done right

Your X1 is looking great, nice work. Hey I noticed the piece over the 3rd brake light and it is looking stellar. Is it a BMW OEM part or something custom. Thanks

I'm glad you found the right parts for the right parts. I didn't kniw there's a roof spoiler for the X1. I looked it up and there's even two types!

Or a knock-off of an AC Schnitzer.

This looks great!

Thanks guys, now something else to spend my money on.

Now I'm looking at my Valencia Orange and thinking about doing this to it.

The road goes on forever and the party never ends....
