Bmw x1 msport with no idrive ???

Hi all you Bmw fan's just a thought here!!! but is there any program's out there like the Vw/Audi's Vag Com so i can get into the brain's of my x1 msport without idrive.My only wish is i should have invested in the IDRIVE as some of the simple task's seem major pressing botton's at the right time etc for simple task's,also i think the owner's manual's should be more for the intervidual car.Also i still not found out how to ajust the date/format from mon/day to day/mon as here in UK it say's you can in manual then goe's on to idrive which i do not have.Any thought's much apprecated.????
