Staggered setup messing with my xDrive?!

This sounds like the same thing my '14 xdrive35 does.
I have the factory staggered setup: 19" 225 double spokes 8" wide in front 9" wide in rear.
It's had the following tires on since I bought it CPO last year:
Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season
Front: 225/40 R 19 89 W
Rear: 255/35 R 19 92 W

The "shakes" have been driving me crazy but every time I take it in they either "can't replicate the problem" or "it's related to my driving style".

About to change to a square setup 18x8.5 w/ 245/45/18s
Very curious if it will eliminate the symptom (but also concerned it a larger problem that needs to be addressed first).
