2012 X1 seat issue

Hi all, first post here :-)

I am looking at fitting leather seats to my BMW X1 (2012), I have found a good looking set out of a 2015 X1 model.

1) Are the seat mounting points the same?

2) Are the airbag connections the same?

Hopefully getting some better photos from the seller (to far to pop up for a look) so will hopefully see if the connection blocks look simmilar.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Ryan

Look up the part numbers on realoem.com to confirm they are the same. But they should be. At least, the mounting points won't be different (and I serious doubt the connectors would be either).

Cheers buddy.

Called parts and service at Kings Lynn BMW today and despite the fact i was not buying anything the guy went away and researched it all for me, no coding issues and all connectors the same.

Wow! That is good to know!

I am planning to try and find a set of M Sport seats to upgrade my stock X-Line seats!

The sport seats are nice but they worn out fast on the side and they show it on the bolsters. The Xline seats look much better even after double use, and gives a better overall look for resale.
Oh well, we cant have them all...

I actually love my X-line seats. A lot.
