Question Cargo area?

Is the cargo area separated from the rest of the vehicle or can you remove the little slider thing to keep it open?

I am really interested in a X1 and would like to put my dog/dogs in the back but if that slider piece cant be removed thats a deal breaker for me.

its very easy to remove, you can also buy a dog guard so the dog has room but cant jump over the back seats

I read that a set of golf clubs WILL NOT fit in the back without flipping a seat. Anyone confirm or refute that statement? I didn't have them with me when I was test driving them.

Clubs will fit diagonally in the back with the rear seats up. I tried it at the dealer with my clubs. An oversized bag might be a problem though.

So would fitting two/three sets of clubs be impossible to do without folding the seats down. I am considering getting ride of my 2 door e92 for a little more room but if I can't even fit two sets of clubs in the back that would be worse than the situation I have now. I like the fact I will be able to transfer my mountain bike on the roof but my golf clubs need to go somewhere.

When I go on vacation I normally would have two bikes, two sets of clubs and two suit cases. With the seats down this should be a problem should it?
