2016 5 Series Production- New B58 Engine or Last Year's Engines
Does anybody have any information if the 2016 5 series will feature the New B58 3.0L inline 6 cylinder turbo engine- 540???
Or are they saving the engine for the completely new 2017 Model? |

Also, 2016 is an extended model year with end of production for F10's currently set for October 2016.

Slightly OT, but related to 2017... Do you like the way the F interior encloses the idrive screen versus the ugly immobile tablet screen on the G? Or, do you think the tablet screens are better design? |

IMO the F10 hooded screen is much better - classier and is better shielded from direct light. It's actually one of the reasons I went with th F10 over the Audi A6.

There are a few tweaks to the standard options / packages on the MY16 that I think are an improvement over the MY15. Minor stuff but if you were considering ordering might be worth it.
+1 on the F10 interior. I actually prefer the F10 to even the F01. Mainly just because the door handle pulls are in a better spot on the F10. |
