Excited to see how it will turn out at least. The old Z4 was so long ago!

Can you share with us what you're looking at? I don't have xray vision.

Disagree. The 507's grill is large but somehow blends into the design. The 8 series grill is in your face and don't blend at all, it's completely bling.
You cannot compare the timeless lines of the 507 to this... I will claim that the 1st generation 8 series still looks better (except the rear lights) to this upcoming 8.

- Because today's BMW coupes and convertibles have even numbered model names
- Because it will be much closer to the the size of a 4 Series than a 5 Series - Because it will have 30i and M40i models like the 3 Series, 4 Series, X3, and X4 - Because BMW products with a 5 in the model name are expected to have a V8 option, and this vehicle will not - Because the Z4 has two generations of established history - Because Z5 is arbitrary. Why not call it Z6, 33P!, elephantBeans, or FkjeR*? |

I'll have to withhold judgement until it's released, but so far I am a bit disappointed that the headlights lost a bit of the sharp angular design compared to the prototype.

My thoughts exactly. The 8 series and Z4/5 concepts were beautiful. The production versions are making me a bit apprehensive.

Not only that. As with the 8er, imagine a much thicker grill frame like on the actual 5er. That's a huge difference in appearance to the concepts. And I don't like it, it looks like too much lipstick!
