Wheel and Tire Question

I have a set of wheels from a 2010 X5 with 255/55/R18 Pirelli Winter Tires. The wheels are 18" x 8.5", 5 Lug, 120mm Bolt Pattern, 46mm Offset. Would these fit on an X1 M Line?

No, mainly because the sidewall height is taller with you x5 tires than the stock rubber. SO your speedo will be off. And they are def. too wide to use in the front.
Not sure how the change in sidewall height would affect the awd system. The rears should be fine without rubbing, but I suspect the front would rub.

Hope that helps.

TYC is correct. The overall diameter is a full 3" greater than stock. Not only would your speedometer be screwed up, but you would likely have some serious rubbing issues. And it would look odd. Even if you changed the tires to the correct size, you could still have issues with the wheels. We know an 8.5" wide wheel will fit on the rear without any problems, but you would probably need spacers to adjust the offset. I can't say if an 8.5" wide wheel would fit on the front, but it almost certainly wouldn't with a 46mm offset. At the very least you would need spacers for the front also.

Thanks for the help guys, bummer, as these are new OEM and the tires are brand new, I am currently switching to an X1, so will have to sell the X5 wheels.
