Replacing run flats

I need to replace my front run flats. Should I go for the Goodyears that it had? or Pirelli?

I have W225 R45 / 18

Here's what I found: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...45&diameter=18

Suggestions?

If you are not replacing all four get the same brand.

In terms of sizing, are you sure you have the size right? X1's are to my knowledge only sold with 225/50-17 tires, but this may not be true in Costa Rica

Here's why I'm replacing the run flat... I felt into a pothole. The dealer says it's safe... but not sure. Luckily the ring is fine.

I would replace right away and limit speed to no more than 80 kph until replaced.

Thanks all I'm considerig to go with normal tires at the front and leave the run flat good year efficient grip 255r40/18 on the back...

I heard the regular tires feel better on unevem roads with your ocassional hole.

Any thoughts?

I would only change to non run flats on the front if you were changing them all. Otherwise match them up. The potential for handling problems at high speeds because of tire differences, while perhaps small, would be on my mind.
