Cup holder in center console door

Can some please look at the picture and tell me what is missing? On a test drive meow and have a list of things I would like addressed. Looks faulty to me.

this is where you store the passanger cup holder that would normally fit in the slot near the passenger left thigh

+1 ( and all the other x1's on the lot had the detachable cup holders stored here)

Please beware, when using the cup holder in front of the center console, the console will slide forward with minimal effort, such as when one uses their elbows to attain a comfortable seated position. I learned the hard way and still forget to warn new passengers. Exploding beverages are no fun.

Second this. My dogs have decapitated several styrofoam cups full of soda doing this...

Trade up to the Mini, er, BMW X1 F-series, and some of our problems will be addressed.


ps I got the insert on mine. Works great! Looks stupid though.
