Sorry I'm a little uneducated these things but need to learn...
The new version deletes codes automatically. Gas mileage doesnt suffer at all, but your ability to drive slow does. Its a completely different animal with 85 more HP. If you took it off before you took the car in for a service I dont know how they could prove you have one but most service advisors are cool about it just ask them before you bring the car in.

AFe also offers an oiled version... The dry flow filters are better for the sensors in the intake system to help keep them clean.

Hmm. they don't say it fits E84, but since you told me you use that one so I' gonna say it fits.

K&N is known for their air filter and aFe is named air flow engineering. So which to get lol

The thing that worries me about the stage 2, as I have read in other threads, is the charge pipe. The factory one ends up cracking and will need replaced with a much more solid one

BMS didnt suggest changing it, so we'll see.

The part is listed for F10 528i and also fits E89 Z4 28i, those cars and the E84 X1 28i all have different are boxes but use the same filter element that's why that filter fits. Any drop in filter for the F10 528i and E89 Z4 28i will fit the X1 28i

JB Stage 1 is ordered and will do an intake, DP and Exhaust once they are available or possibly go custom rte.

Maybe wrap the roof gloss black to match the Shadowline rails.
Whats clearance like on front wheels. I get slight rubbing with the standard 225/50/17,s on full lock. BMW said Maximum Width 8 inches.

Aftermarket springs in the US

Anyone here using any kind of lowering springs in the US I called Eibach and they have nothing. Ordered some thru H&R and they said it will take 4-6 weeks. I am kinda impatient and have noticed a couple of lowered x1’s here can any of you guys share some info as to where you got your springs?

TIA
Miko

You can run E90 or E91 springs on the car since it's the same suspension. You can run HR OE Sports, Eibach Prokit, Eibach Race, etc. You have a lot of options.

As Endless stated, he is running on E91 KWs @ 3" drop. You will probably be happy with a 1.5-2.5" drop on springs; you just have to pick your options.
