How in the hell the plastic engine cover can be remove...I could snap only (2) retainers, but it seems the cover is held by a vacuum line attach to the cover. Do I disconnect the vacuum line? or it is an easy way to remove the cover?

I had to remove the cowl panel to get the plastic cover off when I changed my spark plugs. There are a couple screws and plugs to be undone, and you have to remove the AC filter piece and associated screws to remove the whole cowl. It's easier to get off than back on. Don't force anything when putting it back on, as when it's lined up it will easily seat into place.

Again thanks...I was going to do the same (change the sparkplugs) but also to make sure if my deep 12 point socket will fit in the tube where the plugs are nesting. |

As far as tools, I used these extensions and this socket without a problem: Extensions Socket I think I also had to buy an adapter piece for my torque wrench, but not 100% on that. Overall it was an easy job, with plug #4 being the biggest pain. |
