Thats why I only park in a corner with the sidewalk to one side and I tuck my car as close to the sidewalk as I comfortably can without curbing my wheels

I call it "seeding." Like planting a seed and stuff grows around it. I've "far parked" at stores before and come out to find a half dozen other cars parked around me. For no particular reason.

When I pull into my lot at work (where most people stay in one parking spot all day), I look for two cars with a decent space between them and park there. Then at least I can split the difference and know no one will park inches from my doors.

Many reasons, maybe they lazy and wanna check out your ride w/o walking far. Maybe they just wanna annoy you or make you nervous. Maybe they know you won't ding them as it's a nice car so they feel safer.

Look how empty this parking lot was and is. This lot stays pretty empty all day because this is the back of the building and there's plenty of available parking in the front... but of course, looks like my baby found an admirer, I guess.

Because you are still near the entrance to where ever you are, as the handicapped spot across from you indicates. You are not in the furthest spot. I would never park that close to the front doors.

I know eh. I almost always park as far away in a parking lot from my intended destination for a couple of reasons. I don't want some idiot dinging my car and I don't mind the walk, in fact I like the walk. I'm always surprised (although I shouldn't be) when your at the mall and you watch people driving around looking for that sweet parking spot close to the doors, to only be going into a mall to walk around looking at shit for the next few hours. I've watched these lemmings drive around for an eternity, rather than take one of the endless spots another 50 yards farther from the building. Boggles the mind.
