C&D's video review of xDrive28i

Excellent review from "Chubba Cheddah".

Enjoy.

Great review. Odd that Car and Driver's December 2012 drive test article was dismissive of the car, mocking that it "stops shorter than a school bus." Maybe there is a split of opinion at the magazine about the car, but I predict the X1 will prove its credentials in time, given the unique niche it fills and its great handling.

I don't recall "Chubba Cheddah" commenting on the brakes. I'm pretty sure that ceramic pads have cost this, and other BMWs, some stopping performance. I'm OK with that. I hate brake dust!

That guy knows how to review a car! What a great and fairly unbiased review!

I found it a little odd that he had to start off by describing how to identify a BMW, taking time to discuss kidney grills etc. good review tho

He didn't - I thought his review was pretty objective. The article I thought was odd - since it seems the opposite of "Chubba's" - is at:

It's more so the low rolling resistance all-season tires, than the brakes.

Checkout Motorweek's X1 Road Test to see a test of an M Sport with summer tires.
