DSC kicking in unnecessarily? 35i

Does anyone have the issue of the DSC kicking in under kickdown? For example: you're driving approx 35-40 mph and you give 100% throttle (Max. Kickdown mode) and it downshifts to 2nd gear, and as soon as full power is applied, a quick intervention happens and power is reduced for a second (DSC flashes) there is clearly no slipping. Same happens in 1st gear. Activating DTC alleviates this issue, but I've never had a BMW do this before. Obviously, installing the JB4 brought out this issue even more, so I just need to always drive in DTC mode. Just wondering if this is a design flaw or just a bad sensor perhaps. Anyone??

If you're running on summer rubber, it could certainly be a partial wheel spin. The slightest slip will activate the DSC.

All seasons. Its just very doubtful for slip. I had summers on my 335d with a JBD (500 lb ft tq) and never had the issue, nor on a 335i / 335xi or 135i with a jb4 or an e83 x3. I see your point 100% .. just sometimes even at a lower RPM it seems to "think" its gonna slip and cuts back. Itll legit buck in 1st gear activating/deactivating throttle intervention. I just doubt this will throw a code for dealer to read.

How in the world did you have a 135i that didn't do this all the time? Stupid one wheel drive car. Ours was always lighting up one stock RFT and even the non RFT PSS's. Of note, if it's cold and you have summer tires, it will be much worse.

I get this on my 28i with JB4. I've even noticed that turing DSC off, it's never really off. If I get sideways enough, it kicks in. Makes for rather boring winter drives.

Yes!... The power gets cut quickly on any wheelspin, sudden acceleration or even over slight bumps in the road while accelerating. Hold down the button for a few seconds and deactivate if you have a low gear full throttle need for speed.
