A good guide for replacing Xenon Bulbs?
Hi,
I am a new and first time owner for a 2015 BMW X1 sDrive28i. I got it used in November 2018 with 19k miles on it. Yesterday the xenon bulb on the driver side went out. It was a 4300k bulb. I have the xenon adaptive package. I saw on Amazon and I can get two DS1 bulbs for $22! I was thinking of getting the 8000K. I was wondering if there was a good step-by-step guide for replacing those. Most videos online are for halogen replacements. Even a good document with pictures will help. Thank you in advance. Best, Satish |

8K bulbs are almost purple. They will not light the road or signs as well as the 4.3K bulbs. 5K aren't bad either. For best vision you want the closest to pure white. 8K isn't brighter just a different color. White light has all the colors of the spectrum in it a will reflect off more surfaces and provide a better view.
