Will front seats from an E90 fit my 2015 X1?
I might have a line on a set of sport seats for an E90. Since our cars are based on the E90, will the diver and passenger seats fit?

They appear to be the same from my 335i.

They do fit. I just put them in tonight and it was not too difficult.
They are way more comfortable than the regular seats. They down side is that I now have an airbag light. I'll be calling the shop tomorrow about it. |

I read something about that potential of airbag message. IIRC this may have to do with the difference with model year e90s. Might be because X1 being the more modern car may have extra side airbags or some SRS logic as well. Some has active head restraints that may cause headache.... figuratively.
I wonder if you can code it away. |

As it turns out there is a sensor in the seats that is different from what the car is looking for. I have an appointment next week and they are going to code around it.
Having said that, the seats are totally worth it. I cannot believe how much more comfortable they are than the stock seats. I'm amazed. |

Actually they have not been able to. I have to install a Passenger Seat Occupancy Sensor bypass emulator, which is on order right now.
The seats are still worth it... |
