Front Bumper Modifications

Need some help:

Can parts 3 and 6 below be easily replaced without removing the entire bumper? Do they pull right out?

I'm replacing some of the trim on my sapphire black X1 xline to be more like the sport line (black gloss finish). I'm interested in replacing parts 3 and 6 with the sport line trim so that they will match my gloss black m performance grill.

(FYI: the sport line trim is identical to the xline trim, just different color and finish)

Thanks!

Yes, they come right out. There are some clips under each of them that need to be open. Be careful though to not brake them. I can tell you however, not easy to put them back. I strugle to put back the middle lip though and ended up talking with a BMW tech at the dealership who installed it for me in 2 minutes...

Will do! It may be a bit before I get new parts but I can't wait for the transformation. I will also be swapping out the rear bumper with the sport line version.

Looking nice! Have you considered just having the whole bumper painted to match?

I am considering it, but I also don't mind the silver outline on the bottom. It gives it some depth.

Part number is 51777171004 for black, 51713419594 for white/clear.

available at FCP euro, ECS, even Amazon.

You will need a rivet tool for installation.
