Transmission problems
Hello,
I have a 2012 128i Xdrive (maple leaf land) and just the other day when I got in the car put it in D and the car wouldn't move, just revs. It put itself into park, I tried a few more times and same thing. Yesterday I was able to scan the car and these are the 2 codes I get for the transmission: 4E98: Transmission ratio monitoring, clutches A, B and D 4EC9: Parking lock I cleared the codes and they come back right away, but now the car will move a few inches and puts itself into park. Looking for advice or comments. Thanks, Mike |

Tranny problems are no fun. Suggest you search the E90 forums. This post refers to those codes, it was an inexpensive seal between the valve body and trans housing.
